("Jobirn") is committed to helping professional applicants for jobs
through pre-qualification and referral offered by a company employee
(Insider Referrer), and as a result has established this no-tolerance
Anti-Spam Policy. Jobirn will occasionally update this Anti-Spam Policy
without prior notice. When it does, Jobirn will also revise the "last
updated" date at the foot of this Anti-Spam Policy.
1. What is Spam?
- Messages (including comments) broadcasted to other Jobirn users that
advertise a product or service, especially those advertising illegal
money-making schemes: "Junk" message(s), unsolicited message(s), and
messages sent out in bulk;
- Sending a single message sent to 20 or more contacts;
- Applying for 20 or more jobs or companies that have no relevance to your primary industry or primary job category;
- Sending bulk recruitment advertisements to applicants with no regards to the requirement of the job.
2. Preventing Spam
Users of Jobirn products and services have agreed during their registration process, upon accepting the
Terms of Use ,
to comply with this Anti-Spam Policy. Jobirn reserves the right to
determine in its sole discretion what constitutes actionable spam, as
well as what measures are necessary in response to such spam
activities. Jobirn also reserves the right to terminate your account
and participation in our programs "for cause" if we deem you to be in
violation of our anti-spamming policy. We also reserves the right to
suspend your account and participation pending review upon receipt of
any complaint or other evidence that you may be engaging in any
spamming activity.
3. How Jobirn Helps You to Avoid Spamming
Jobirn has developed a strict permission-based philosophy. This anti-spam philosophy is implemented through the following:
(a)
Refos System-
To encourage participation, reward great contributors and reduce
spamming, Jobirn has a system of refos. The number of refos you get
depends on the specific action you take. The points table below
summarizes the refo values for different actions. While you can't use
refos to buy or redeem anything, they do allow everyone to recognize
how active and helpful you've been. (And they give you another excuse
to brag to your friends.)

Reporting spam-If you
believe that you have received spam from or through Jobirn's
facilities, please click "spam" in the chat window, and tell us why you
think it’s spam. You can also contact our customer service to report
spam. Please provide any other information that you believe may help us
in our investigation. Jobirn does not investigate or take any action
based on "anonymous" spam complaints. If you are proven as a spammer
after our investigation, the "Spam Reporting" policy will apply.
(c)
Filter System-
The filter system gives referrers /hiring managers/recruiters the
ability to conveniently find the type of applicants they are looking
for. Any chat request without meeting the requirement will be
automatically blocked.
(d)
Qualified Pool-
Each company has its own pre-qualified pool. As a referrer/hiring
manager/recruiter, you could see your company's qualified pool and find
out which applicants are qualified and why. As an applicant, refos will
be added if you are qualified by a company insider.
